Cash is Trash

This is an investing term when cash if earning a great deal less than market returns on a risk-adjusted basis, but what happens as we stop using cash? - we also get disconnected from the work we do and the money we earn… digital 1s and 0s have their place, and will ultimately be the only currency we use… my guess is coins will be removed from circulation first, and then paper money:
