Execution
So many of you are crushing it and starting to get this forward momentum that keeps compounding. Please share with me any wins you are having, as we’ve discussed in Continuum, it is this modeling of seeing others have success that isn’t designed to compare to them (please don’t do that) but to show you any doubts you have are just that - if you stop investing in the doubts and start putting that energy toward your goals you’ll see results compounding ‘in time’ … we’ll do a CLA soon where I’m going to interview some of you that are doing this about what you are learning, what’s working now, etc.
Here’s a great example from @Will Koenig
Here’s the stats from this week so far:
I realized that I now have 2 “culture” advisors, so I may start investing more in our shared systems. Both of these advisors share the same assistant, and I have been sharing the same mindset/skillset coaching tools I used to chase Realtors to give away, and he and his bosses seem to love it!
3 advisors sent referrals this week, 2 of these were their first referral ever!
One advisor referred another tenured advisor and we have scheduled an appointment and he is working on sending his first 2 referrals by tomorrow
I attended my first FPA meeting last week, have an appointment scheduled with the FPA president after tax season, and 2 more appointments scheduled with advisors I met there. The president is going to reserve a spot for me to teach CE there in 2026.
I feel like I’m starting to find my natural voice in the newsletters (I’m proud of this week’s) and conversations around life decisions, money, and homes. CLA has become music for me—in the same way I can sit down with anyone and find a way to connect and play decent music, I now do the same thing with these CLA conversations. It’s a natural improvisation based around another person’s needs without the grandiose self-promotion of selling, performing, or “musical noodling.” These conversations are “folk music” which is about the shared connection, and not “pop music” which is more about excellence in performance. Which is fantastic for call reluctance—I’m now just playing music with friends, only the “music” is conversations about helping people build wealth. Fun and easy!
I’m playing around with training an AI to process my inbox the way I personally use Getting Things Done + tasking and will share if this turn out to be solid. Also playing around with AI to chop up newsletters, rewrite for online content, create visual online content, and schedule posts while running A/B testing. This last one is way down on my list, but if I can set up a system that is at least 80% as good as me, there may be value here.
Anyway, thank you again for sharing all this. I have not had a single advisor who, after hearing about CLA, did not want to meet or work together.
