Reverse Mortgage Book edits and comments

@John Thompson @Todd K Ballenger @Chris Freck

Hi all,

Based on John’s last post-hive meeting email, here’s my two cents. Also, I reviewed the Reverse Mortgage book and am attaching my edits to be added/changed/etc. Some of it is nitpicky like adding “HOA fees (if needed)” to the list of “chores” that include paying property taxes, HOI and maintaining the home. Others are just correcting incorrect statements, though I’m certainly not more expert than my esteemed Reverse Hive colleagues, so I’m happy to be corrected myself. I didn’t review the calculations yet.

From John’s email:

Things to consider:

  • Open, or gated? >>gated

  • In front of a landing page, or both - one for using it to capture leads and one that isn't?  >>i'm not sure, would like to talk over the pros and cons

  • How do you want your branding on this? >> would be great to have CLA and broker's name for brand

  • What call to action at the end?>>always

  • One approach would be the landing page idea how we did the education pages. It puts your photo and your contact information at the top and could have a header at the bottom, but it kind of frames it inside of something.  SAMPLE:>> yes

  •  https://lendtelligent.replit.app/share/0404c882-0d25-4d85-a363-c70b059aa1ef/91

  • The next would be no branding on the document outside of NIFE, but a landing page that captures for the user. (how does it know who the LO is?)>>i don't think so, but open to discuss this

  • The other would be trying to co-brand the actual book, so the book itself has the co-branding. (presumably on each page)>>yes, especially since the hultquist booklets are being discontinued (for financial planners, homeowners and home buyers)

AND – if you see an error in logic or education please report that in as well.>>attached
